Too Much Stuff

I definately have too much stuff in this tiny apartment. I have been trying for quite a while now to get rid of it all; at my great-aunt's neighborhood lawn sales, on eBay, half.com, by giving things away or throwing them out. So check out my sales. My username on both of the sites I mentioned is alexandra_meg. I have tons on half.com right now. Make me an offer. If I know you, there's a good chance you'll get it for free.

Out of my Comfort Zone

Lately, I often wonder if I have made a mistake. So many things are up in the air, as they say. I worry that I have rearranged my life and left my comfort zone for something that might be better for me. But now, even after several months, this unsettled feeling hasn't gone away. Other parts of my life seem to be "on track" for the most part, but I can tell that it may be a while until things settle down otherwise.

In other news, I may be off to sunny Cincinnati next week, but just for the day. I have started a new hobby- more to come on that... maybe. My knitting is coming along, but slowly, probably because I am reading a ridiculous amount.

Kay Jewelers

chipped the stone in my beautiful ring! You have no idea how upset this makes me since they can't find an exact match to my stone- and they weren't going to tell me about it!

Finished

I finished two very good books in the last few days: Their Eyes Were Watching God and The Bridges of Madison County. Check out my quotes page for the latest.

These two books have many similarities. Both of these books are love stories, in their own way, and heart-wrenching, in their own way. Both are about strong women, even in love, who have to make hard choices. One has to kill the man she loves, and one chooses to let her soul-mate leave after only four days together.

Mmmmmm

A pretty good day: Breakfast at Maxie's, a seminar at the Crowne Plaza Times Square (this means I got some toys to play with tomorrow at work), and to end the evening- Salvadoran food!
