Modern Dance

I am watching So You Think You Can Dance. The opening group dance routine was a contemporary piece by Mia Michaels. The reason I am mentioning it is because this reminded me so much of winterguard, circa 1994 or so. I am not really sure why, but there it is...

I am leaving for Maine in the morning and hope to visit the yarn store up there that mom keeps telling me about.

The baby camel scarf is finally finished (picture next week). It was one of those easy patterns (sort of a mock-rib) that I just didn't work on very often due to the weather. Yes, for you non-knitters out there, there is a season for working with certain yarns. Near 100 degree heat is definately not when I want to be working with a very thick, fuzzy, wool and camel hair yarn. But I did it anyway (mostly in air conditioning). Dad will be receiving this (most likely for Christmas) - good thing he doesn't read my blog (he doesn't even know what a
blog is).
