A taste of my new favorite song (for the moment):
Ouch I have lost myself again
Lost myself and I am nowhere to be found,
Yeah I think that I might break
Lost myself again and I feel unsafe
That was from Breathe Me by Sia. I heard it in Starbucks tonight and instantly recognized it. Someone I was with knew instantly the title and artist, and that it was the last song in the amazing series finale of Six Feet Under (was anyone not bawling???), and I downloaded it when I got home.

There seems to be an abundance of great music out there lately. TV is good and subsequently the music in the shows is good (think Grey's Anatomy). Even the Walmart commercial song is great (Brother Lee by Citizen Cope). This type of great, semi-alternative music reminds me of Spot Coffee and related things... you don't hear much of that stuff down here in hip-hop central... I swear, NYC is far more behind the times in music than they should be.

In knitting news: I am on the 4th "wild stripe" and I am halfway through the 2nd slipper.
