Pattern Notes: Gingham Cosmetics Bag
from
Holiday Knits

I was unable to find the King Tut yarn that the pattern requires at the time I was making this. I finished it in December 2005 for a Christmas gift.

Yarn: Brown Sheep Company Worsted cotton & wool in #730 Raging Purple, #850 Berry, and #800 Lupine
Needles: US 4 and 6 circulars

I love the red/pink/white colorway in the book, but couldn't find these colors. I think the ones I chose came out nice.

Care: Hand wash in cool water with mild soap and 1/8th cup of white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly - adding 1/8th cup of white vinegar to the last clear rinse. Roll gently in a towl to remove excess water (do not twist or wring). Lay flat to dry. Press with cool iron if needed. Or dry clean.
