Pattern Notes: The Clutch You'll Never Give Up
from One Skein

I love this pattern. I have made 2 of these, but haven't decorated the orange one yet. It knits up in only about 3 hours or so and takes one skein of yarn (hence the book title).

Yarn: Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky in Chianti & Tiger Lily
Needles: US 15

The Chianti clutch will go to my friend Renee for Christmas 2006. The knitted flower is the Scallop Flower from HandKnit Holidays which I also did in Chianti Lamb's Pride with some angora scrap yarn adorning the center and hanging from it.

Care: Hand wash in cool water with mild soap and 1/8th cup of white vinegar. Rinse thoroughly - adding 1/8th cup of white vinegar to the last clear rinse. Roll gently in a towl to remove excess water (do not twist or wring). Lay flat to dry. Press with cool iron if needed. Or dry clean.
