Pattern Notes: House Slippers
from Knit 2 Together

This was a quick and easy project that only took me about 4-5 hours in total. They blue pair will be a Christmas gift for my uncle. The green is for my brother. The pattern in the book shows them with embroidery and/or felted flowers, but when I saw the eclipse multi colorway, I thought it would be great for the top of the slippers all by itself. For the green pair, I just stitched (before felting) a little argyle pattern with the darker green as an accent. I also made the green pair longer by a couple of rows.

I made the pink pair for myself during my Christmas 2006 vacation.

Yarn: Manos del Uruguay 100% wool

Colors:
11 (navy) and 111 (eclipse multi)
67 (loden) and 35 (uranium)
26 (rosen) and 118 (mulled wine)

Needles: US 11 24" circulars and size 13 straights
Gauge: 8.75 sts and 17 rows = 4"

Care: Hand wash in mild soap. Stretch to desired size. Lay flat to dry.
