From the book: The back features an optional eyelet motif that, according to Eastern folklore, brings luck and protection to the wearer, no matter his or her size.

This will be a gift for my best friend's baby shower in early 2007. She is having a boy.

This was a quick weekend knit. I am happy with how I picked up & knitted on the left front, but I wish I had been neater on the right front. Otherwise I am happy with it and would to make this again, if the occasion arose.

Care: Hand or machine wash warm. Rinse cool. Tumble dry low until damp. Block to shape.
